We just got the official word from our "new" boss at the Conifer Group & we passed all their back ground, police & reference checks with flying colors!

Yes!!!! They offered us the job for the one we wanted! We have a job & a place to live!! Thanx for all the well wishes & prayers

Really cross your fingers we're headed to the office of this job to fill out paper work, let's hope there's gonna be a job offer in there!

Wish us luck we're goin into our first interview for a managers position in the Hollywood dist of Portland

As a family we're on our way to support Jason with his induction. & swearing into the Army at MEPS in Portland, exciting & scary

Got a call from Staff Sargent Anderson he filled me in on Jasons progress thru MEPS & let us know the official swearing in ceremony will be in a couple hours

This is a day a mother sheds tears our youngest is at MEPS & will sign paper work today to officially join the Army & we're goin this afternoon to witness it!

Well this isn't the ritz of apartments but it would be somep place to start till we got a nicer place!

Headed home from Garibaldi, very sleepy must be time for bed, good thing I'm not driving!

Words cannot express my happpiness & contentment level today! Kids in 1 car we in another got a cold drink some pork rhines & we're headed west to the beach!

In the truck headed to the beach (Garibldi), we haven't had this much fun since we went to Hawaii last year, its a bit warmer but o so relaxing!

Made it to Portland in time for dads birthday party, food & family ya can't ask for anymore! Gary & I were late for good cause! Haven a lazy saturday so far.

We're headed back to the yard to finish ubloading our semi then back to the hotel ta get in the jacuzzi again cuz it felt sooooooo good last nite!!!

Well thats all folks! We just dropped our last trailer now we got to pack up everything in the semi & put it in our pick up.

We're swapping out again, taking this load to Burns Harbor IN & getten a new 1 headed to WI, we've spent all week driving around IN, IA, IL, WI, getten dizzy!

We also ended up going thru Chicago twice in the middle of this last week, it rained hard the whole time.

We passed thru here twice yesterday, it was dark, gloomy and very humid.

We did have a load headed for TX they swapped us with another driver & now were headed for NJ.

The Great Salt Lake

This is a close up of the dried floor.

The wind was blowing very hard that day, so there was big white salt plumes blowing every where.

When we lived in Rogerson and we drove over to Salt Lake City we would take I80.

We had a load headed west to Northern California. Finally we were gonna get outta the cold weather for awhile, we hoped?

Trick my truck

A couple of weeks ago we were going through Joplin Missouri and we stopped at a truck stop for a pit stop and across the street was the shop of the "Chrome Shop Mafia", they do the show Trick my truck. As a matter of fact we were through that same area again this morning after picking up our new load of fresh pork in Ottumwa Iowa, home of Radar O'Reilly (MASH) and we're heading for Pennsylvania.

What a hummer

This looked like a military hummer pulling something, well guess it musta had a problem cause it was up side down and twisted, guess it didn't make it with the rest of the group! I make fun but we really hope that no one was hurt in this accidental.
