Dinner Prep

Gary and I figured we would be spending Thanksgiving in a truck stop some where. But our wonderful DM got it worked out and we were able to come to Portland to be with Bob and his family and Jason for Thanksgiving. Bob and Lorly did a great job making dinner. Unfortunatlely my knees do not allow me to stand for any amount of time at all due to extreme pain. Bob and Lorly didn't know we were coming until the last minute, they had hoped we were but didn't know for sure. Bob deep friend the turkey and he and Lorly made all the rest of the wonderful food to go with it. It was the first Thanksgiving in almost 25 years that I did nothing but sit and watch tv and play with the grand kids and I enjoyed every minute of it. We wanna thank Bob, Lorly, Ken, Jason and Kaylee for giving us such a great Thanksgiving holiday.

Post Thanksgiving dinner

After a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner, there was a little 'friendly' competition of monopoly. As I finished mine and
Gary's laundry. And of course Jason dominated the game. We all had to sample the pies while we played, wouldn't be Thanksgiving other wise.

Ken

And now here is Ken on Thanksgiving Day, he just turned 13 and his dad said he is becoming a typical teenager and he knows there is a teenager in the household, cause he can't leave the house without going into the bathroom and drowning himself in Tag body spray. I reminded Bob that we went through the same thing with all of them when they were teenagers. Heck, before ya know it he will be driving, watch out everyone!

White Out

This was about 10 minutes after the roads opened up and we all took off. It became an almost complete white out over the Blues. It was about 4pm when I took these pictures. They look really pretty if ya didn't actually know what was going on.
