The flop!

Gary was done with his first 15,000 miles by thursday May 15th and he was coming back to the yard in Salt Lake. I drove over to be with him, now that he is a driver employed by CR England and we get a free room at the yard. Now, remember the word "free", you get exactly what you pay for! It's not bad, it's a room with 2 twin beds side by side and there is barely enough room to line your bags and things along the walls, there's an air conditioner and a heater and a window that opens about 4 inches! The bathroom and showers are down the hall, turn right, turn right again and there they are, there are womens showers and bathroom and mens shower and bathroom. I've tried my best to make this room as homey as I can, comforters, pillows, there's no tv in the room but I brought the lap top and all our movies (dvd's). I will be staying here at the yard with him until he goes out with his next trainer for his last 21 days of training, which will probably be on monday. So in 3 weeks Gary will be getting his own truck and then I will be joining him, now if your thinking what happened to the 30 days he was supposed to drive solo before I could join him, we've discussed it and I am gonna go on the truck with him as soon as he gets his new truck. SHHH! don't tell anyone!!

Very First Load

Well, I am finally getting these pictures up on the blog it only took me 2 1/2 weeks. Gary's very first load that he picked up if you can believe this was in Twin Falls. When he got here he had a couple of hours to kill, so the all the boys came and visited with him, I took him to do some shopping and then sadly I had to take him back to his truck so he could head out to North Carolina. We've been separated this time now for almost 3 weeks and it has been tough. I'm staying with Lorly and the kids, Bob is over in Portland with Jason, Bob starts a new job at the VA on monday. The last weekend this month Bob and Jason will be back to move Lorly and the kids to Portland. I'm not quite sure what I am doing at that point, I have to decide if I am going to Oregon for a little while or going to St. George to spend some time with my sister Karen, I am definitely gonna spend some time with Karen before I go on the truck with Gary so it is just gonna be a matter of timing.
