Happy Thanksgiving
We just wanna wish all of our family, friends and readers a very Happy Thanksgiving. We just arrived in Portland and we are headed to Bob's place to spend Thanksgiving. When we leave on friday we will be hauling out Christmas trees!
Wyoming
This is a pretty typical sight in Wyoming this time of year and all through the winter. About a week ago we were headed outta of Denver headed north and then west across I80 to Twin Falls Idaho, we were delivering a load of Budweiser beer to a distributor in Twin Falls. The wind was blowing so hard, rocking the truck from every direction, the gusts of wind were in excess of 60 mph that day. And like I said that strong of wind is pretty typical for Wyoming, if any of you have driven through there you know exactly what I am talking about.
Return of the Living Dead
Have ya ever seen the movie "Return of the Living Dead"? We was just driving down the highway like usual and I looked up and there was this trailer hauling these military looking like canisters. The first thing that came to mind is the series of movies, Return of the Living Dead I, II & III. Let's hope all of those canisters made it safely to there destination and none of them feel off and into a storm drain to be found by some mischievous kids.
Devils slide
Cherokee Turnpike
There is a section of highway in Oklahoma apparently owned by the Cherokee Indians, called the Cherokee Turnpike, we actually had to pay the indians $7.50 to drive on this highway? I know we've given stuff to the Indians, but when did we start giving them stretches of highway to scalp us on? Ain't the casinos enough?

Revenge of the Killer Grass Hoppers!
Once all the trucks were gone they had no choice but to turn on the poor unsuspecting four wheelers.
They were attacking trucks trying to take refuge inside of a building, there was no place to hide.
There was no getting away from these massive creatures, they were every where, they left no truck standing, they tookem all down. I hope America learns a lesson from this terrible carnage, who's gonna deliver your stuff now?
This poor truck was just sitting there playing dead hoping the grass hoppers wouldn't notice him, no such luck. He was taken down in a matter of seconds, he didn't have a chance.

(No grass hoppers or trucks were hurt during the making of this story. True story we were in southern Utah, the grass hoppers were every where, thousands of them. The funny part is ya don't think about bugs feeling cold or heat, hundreds of grass hoppers took refuge in the shade of our trailer that day.)

Washington
We've been into this area of eastern Washington twice now. The first time picking up a load of frozen potatos to haul back east. The second time was to a winery to pick up a load of wine.
