We were headed into northern California and ya gotta go through an agricultural inspection station to get into the state. We had eaten the last of the fruit we had with us that morning for breakfast, I still had the peelings in the trash, I told Gary I oughta hand him the bag of peelings, he was very avid I was to not do anything of the sort! I thought it woulda been funny, but we really didn't have time to have our truck and trailer searched and I didn't really wanna go through that so I kept my mouth shut!
We raised 4 boys, Bob 26, Steve 25, Andy 23, Jason 21, Bob is married to Lorly, they have 2 kids, Ken 13 and Kaylee 1 yr. Steve's girl friend named Keri, she has a 3 yr old boy named Joey, they are also expected their first child. Andy has a live in girl friend Crystal. Gary has always had a passion for driving semi's his whole life, we always talked about when the boys were grown and gone we would drive truck together cross country. Well that time has come. Gary attended school with CR England, did all his training, we were seperated 2 months before I could join him. We have been waiting for over 20 years for this, so once we realized it was time Gary quit his job as a pit boss, we went through 20+ years of stuff, got a 10x10 storage unit, a lot of stuff went to the DI, the dump and to our boys. My wonderful husband took me to Hawaii for 6 fabulous days and it was the trip of our life time! The day after we got back he had to report to school, leaving him behind was the hardest thing I think I have ever done. UPDATE, we have been out on the road now for 6 months, the newness has wore off, but this is still a great adventure and we are enjoying our time out here!
