Indiana

(sorry some of the put put pictures are blurry, it was a bit humid that night and the camera apparently had some moisture in the lens)

We left Ohio and got to Indiana near Indianapolis, actually it was the Nestle warehouse in Anderson near Indy. We had the best intentions once we found out where we were going in Indiana. Our delivery was late afternoon, early evening, we were gonna drop the trailer at Nestle, go to Tim and Carlas house in Morristown and take them out to dinner, I haven't seen Carla since 2000. Unfortunately our truck acted up and caused us to be 3 hours late and once we got there, there was this ungodly long line to get into the warehouse that didn't move for almost 2 hours. While waiting I tried to call Carla and only got the answering machine. Once we got thru the front gate it was 9:30pm, to late to just drop in on someone, I know Carla has to get to bed early as she gets up very early for work. Our load was supposed to be ready by 6am to pick up, we hadn't had dinner yet cause we were expected to take Tim and Carla to dinner. They told us we could leave the grounds to go get some dinner but we had to stay within a few miles so we could get back in the "event" that our load got ready early! Yeah right! We ran down the street were we had seen some burger joints coming in and we decided to try a place called Steak and Shake and when we parked there was a place called "Put Put", Gary said come one were gonna go on a date and play miniature golf, last time we did that we were dating about 25 years ago. Luckily the place was still open and we played a quick round of "put put golf", then we went and tried the burgers, which were alright. We got back to Nestle and the load still wasn't ready, big surprise, after 6am Gary had to go to the guard shack again and give them our pick up info and his cell phone number and they instructed us to stay in the side yard to waiting for our load. Gary and I had a good time at miniature golf, but we were very disappointed that we were not able to go to dinner with our good friends. Sorry Carla, we'll try again next time.
