I have been all over the state of Nevada for years, but I have never made it to the north west corner of Nevada before. We finally got a run to northern California, we went through Sparks, Reno and Lake Tahoe areas. We never did get a good look at the lake itself in Tahoe, its got trees surrounding it, but the area is really pretty, really tall pine trees. I'm sure this area is very pretty once the snow starts falling.
