We had delivered our load in Goodyear, AZ then we drove a few miles into Phoenix and picked up the first part of a 2 part load. This warehouse was difficult to get into not to mention they had no docks, so they had a portable dock and instead of them bringing the dock up to the truck, they made us back up into this little thing. We were stuck here almost 10 hours loading, something about a problem with making the labels or something. We had to go into this little shop that made metal parts, we were picking up parts to make air bags for cars, anyway we had to go inside the building to use the bathroom and it was 109 outside it had to be at least 130 inside the building I don't know how these people ever get used to working in that heat.
We raised 4 boys, Bob 26, Steve 25, Andy 23, Jason 21, Bob is married to Lorly, they have 2 kids, Ken 13 and Kaylee 1 yr. Steve's girl friend named Keri, she has a 3 yr old boy named Joey, they are also expected their first child. Andy has a live in girl friend Crystal. Gary has always had a passion for driving semi's his whole life, we always talked about when the boys were grown and gone we would drive truck together cross country. Well that time has come. Gary attended school with CR England, did all his training, we were seperated 2 months before I could join him. We have been waiting for over 20 years for this, so once we realized it was time Gary quit his job as a pit boss, we went through 20+ years of stuff, got a 10x10 storage unit, a lot of stuff went to the DI, the dump and to our boys. My wonderful husband took me to Hawaii for 6 fabulous days and it was the trip of our life time! The day after we got back he had to report to school, leaving him behind was the hardest thing I think I have ever done. UPDATE, we have been out on the road now for 6 months, the newness has wore off, but this is still a great adventure and we are enjoying our time out here!
