This trailer pictured here, we took on it's final run on the open road. We dropped it at an Intermodal yard in Chicago. Don't know what they will do with it, retire it permanently, strip it down and use it for a dry box on cargo ships and trainers. But we took it to it's final resting place as a working refer semi on the interstate.
We picked up a brand new trailer at the Wabash factory in Lafayette, IN. We were the very first ones to take her on her maiden voyage.
We raised 4 boys, Bob 26, Steve 25, Andy 23, Jason 21, Bob is married to Lorly, they have 2 kids, Ken 13 and Kaylee 1 yr. Steve's girl friend named Keri, she has a 3 yr old boy named Joey, they are also expected their first child. Andy has a live in girl friend Crystal. Gary has always had a passion for driving semi's his whole life, we always talked about when the boys were grown and gone we would drive truck together cross country. Well that time has come. Gary attended school with CR England, did all his training, we were seperated 2 months before I could join him. We have been waiting for over 20 years for this, so once we realized it was time Gary quit his job as a pit boss, we went through 20+ years of stuff, got a 10x10 storage unit, a lot of stuff went to the DI, the dump and to our boys. My wonderful husband took me to Hawaii for 6 fabulous days and it was the trip of our life time! The day after we got back he had to report to school, leaving him behind was the hardest thing I think I have ever done. UPDATE, we have been out on the road now for 6 months, the newness has wore off, but this is still a great adventure and we are enjoying our time out here!
