Barstow

Barstow, CA has got to be one of the ugliest hottest cities to ever live in? Why would anyone wanna live there? In the middle of town they have this big tower thermometer, that registers the current temp, it's the tall skinny tower ya see in the second picture. The day we were there it was saying the temp was 103 and it was only 12 noon.
We had seen this restaurant last time thru there, claiming to have the 'Worlds greatest Gyro', well I'm here to tell ya 'NOT'! But what they do have is I think the 'Worlds most expensive
Gyro'. Every gyro I've ever had, it had feta cheese on it, not this one, the meat was seasoned ok, but it sure wasn't worth no $10. So we can say been there done that. The restaurant is pictured here also in the first picture. I woulda much rather gone to the Bob's Big Boy across the street.
