Chaining up

Chaining up the truck was, well, an experience. Gary had never chained up a semi before. We had 2 sets of double chains and 4 single chains. It took about 2 1/2 hours to get all the chains on the truck. Once they opened up I84 westbound you had to be chained up or they would not let you proceed. We were very greatful for the chains cause going over the Blues was pretty hairy tonight to say the least. I am so proud of Gary he did an absolutely beautiful job keeping the truck in control and keeping us safe. Gary is THE ONLY person on the face of this earth that I would trust to drive me through a storm like we encountered today. And unfortunately this is just the first of many to come.
