Newark NJ

We had to pick up a load of Arizona Teas in Newark New Jersey. We have never been to Jersey and we found it loud, confusing and some place I wouldn't wanna live! We had taken a wrong turn to find the place and found ourselves headed down town Newark and we knew that wasn't right. We got out the lap top and looked at a way to get outta there, ya can't just go blindly trying to find streets to turn a 73' vehicle down, plus there were quite a few low underpasses we couldn't get under. While Gary was looking at the map on the lap top, I walked up the block, in the dark mind you, to see what the street names were ahead of us. A couple of left hand turns and we were outta there and on our way to the warehouse to pick up the Arizona Teas.

The absolutely coolest thing, after we were loaded and leaving Newark, we missed our turn off again for the right highway and it was taking us directly into Manhatten. We were headed over what we think mighta been the George Washington Bridge, not sure on that one. But what I wanna mention is the sun was just setting and we got to see the whole Manhatten sky line. It is one long sky line and one of the most beautiful ones I have ever seen. It happened so fast I couldn't get a picture of it, but the memory of it will live on in our minds.
